The first version of TempoApp: what a clinic got from day one
Where it started
TempoApp started in February 2026 with a practical aim: a children's therapy clinic's day-to-day work should sit in one place, rather than split across diaries, spreadsheets and message groups. The first version already covered the whole path of a session, from booking to scoring.
The calendar and sessions
Sessions appear in the calendar by month, week or day, and can be filtered by therapist or by child. A new session is created in four steps: team, children, programmes, confirmation. Sessions that repeat are scheduled once, not week by week.
At each session, the therapist marks attendance (Present, Absent, Excused), records the programmes worked on and writes the session notes. Scoring also works on a phone or tablet, during the session itself.

Children and programmes
Each child has a record: their details, assigned therapists, programmes, evaluations, intervention plan and documents. That way, whoever takes over a child finds everything in one place.
In the first version, programmes were scored by trial: wrong, no response, prompted, correct (− 0 P +). Progress on each programme was built up from these scores, session after session. Today, every programme has its own way of being measured, for example level of prompting, a number or a time, and progress reads each one in its own way.

Intervention plans and evaluations
The intervention plan brings together a child's goals, each with its own status: not started, in progress, achieved. The coordinator can see how far each goal has come, without searching through notes.
Evaluations are filled in directly in the app, item by item, on a computer, tablet or phone. At the end, every evaluation has a summary by category.
Messages, activity log and language
The team writes to each other inside the app, and the clinic can message parents too, without moving conversations about children into personal message groups.
The activity log shows who changed what, and when: a session booked, attendance marked, a record changed, an evaluation saved. Entries in the log cannot be changed or deleted by anyone at the clinic, so they stay a record you can trust.
The interface has been in Romanian and English from the start, and the language is changed from settings.
What followed
The first version also had an early form of the parent portal and billing. Both have grown a great deal since then, as have programme scoring and the evaluations. The following months in this history show, one by one, what was added.
